Here at King Park Academy we run an After School Care Club, we appreciate that sometimes finding suitable childcare for that period from the end of the school day until early evening can be a bit of a headache, especially for working parents. Also, having one child in one of our many clubs can mean having to make two journeys to school.
You must book your child in advance using Parent Pay at £8.00 per session per child. You can book until 2pm for that day’s After School Club. This is to ensure we have the appropriate number of staff members to maintain the safest, highest quality of care for your child. Please also be aware that there is a legal ratio of staff to children, therefore we cannot guarantee your child will be accepted in to the club without booking in advance. Also, for working parents, we have now extended our opening hours to accommodate those of you who need your child cared for until 5.50pm.
Fun Activities
Children get involved in a variety of activities, including: cooking, multi-sports, art and crafts and games and an opportunity to complete homework. Your child will learn new skills whilst enjoying themselves, in a safe and secure environment supported by academy staff. They will make new friends, and we even supply a healthy snack to keep them going until their evening meal!
The club is run every afternoon during the school term.
